Laying in bed, drifting off to sleep, half listening to the late night news I heard... The turmoil and negativity created by man against man deeply disturbed me. This was the inspiration for “Give Peace a Chance”.

Even though nations of the World are seemingly incompatible we should learn to live side by side, in harmony. We need to work at enhancing each others’ culture, grow together not apart. “Look not in anger, nor in fear, look with awareness” as people of this Earth, look at what we have! Use that awareness to perpetuate positive changes.

The beading on this quilt was completed during a cross country trip to New York City and Nova Scotia.
